Evolution of “Jet”

You can see the evolution of the sculpture from a sketch (or two), to a paper model, a to bronze maquette. The end result will be a final sculpture due this summer 2011: a 15 foot wall relief!
The process of drawing, redrawing, and building a paper model helps to better understand aesthetic balances and problem-solve shapes that can be a great benefit in the final stages of building a bronze maquette.
The paper sketches are on 11″x34″ paper.
The paper maquette is 19″x6″
The bronze maquette is 56″x26″x6″
